ChizMozza | Satisfy Your Mozzarella Cheese Cravings

Aside from its witty and catchy name (as it sounds like chismosa which is a filipino/spanish word for someone who loves to gossip), what really caught my attention is their product itself. People often associate mozzarella cheese with pizza and pasta dishes. Not many people would think about shaping it into bite-size and sticks, cover it with crunchy coating, and sell it as their main snack product. The name ChizMozza actually came from Mozzarella Cheese. Not so hard to figure out, right? Pan de Amerikana | Upside Down Restaurant in Katipunan Ave

I’ve been considering this restaurant ever since I discovered it from a friend way back when I was still working in Libis, Quezon City (that’s 2 years ago). It’s just few kilometers away from my workplace (Calle Industria), but let’s not dig deeper as to why it never transpired because I myself can’t explain either. 😅 Now that I’m not based in QC anymore that the plan finally took place (what an irony). Bill’s Bear Café in Ermita, Manila

We were in Manila for a business meeting when we found a restaurant worth hitting up. Bill’s Bear Cafe was easily spotted inside Robinsons Place, Ermita. We actually dined here twice already. The first happened during merienda when we tried their Crispy Quadro Pizza, Yakult Green Tea, and Bill’s Bear Milk Tea. It was so good that we agreed to come back but this time during lunch. I ordered one of their new dishes — Chicken & Shrimp Cream Pasta, while Jeric tried one of the best sellers — Salmon in Lemon Caper Cream Sauce. Drinks were Bill’s Bear Milk Tea (again) and Oreo Milk Tea. Dessert was King Mango…

Bulacan’s Pride | Cafe Apolonio and Restaurant

Last summer, Jeric the boyfie invited me to go to Bustos, Bulacan to visit a mushroom farm and to conduct a brief interview with the owner. I gladly agreed as a sign of support to his new business venture. Fast forward to the end of the interview, it was lunch time and we started looking for a good place to eat. We were extremely hungry and Mang Inasal was constantly popping into our heads as we crave for unli-rice. I tried to search online for nearby fast-foods and restaurants, for we were on a highway and there were no other people to ask. I found Cafe Apolonio & Restaurant as…
