Chiang Kai Shek (With Cherry Blossoms), Hangzhou Xiao Long Bao, & Feng Wang Pineapple Cakes (Taiwan Day 1)

We all know that in every trip, first day is always the most exciting and energetic day especially when you travel to a certain destination for the first time. And add the fact that it’s our first international travel, our excitement was beyond description! Result? We were super early at the airport! We heard that Philippine immigration is too strict nowadays so we made sure we’re prepared now that I’m an ✔️unemployed ✔️woman ✔️first time traveling abroad. Same with Jeric, only that he’s not a woman. 😅 Thank God we were not put on-hold at the Philippine immigration. As a matter of fact, our interview did not even last a minute!…

Taiwan 5D4N Itinerary & Budget + Travel Guide

Taiwan has been on our bucket-list ever since it opened it’s doors to Philippine passport holders. Meaning, Filipinos could enjoy visa-free entry to Taiwan for up to 14 days, but only for a trial period which was until July 2018 only. We missed the trial period but it seemed Taiwan really wanted to see us so visa-free privilege was extended until July 2019! Update: Visa-free privilege is extended until July 2020!   Taiwan Trip Summary Our trip consisted of Taipei City, Taichung, Yangmingshan, and Northeast tour. We stayed for 5 days and 4 nights at King Plaza Hotel, a budget hotel with good location and comfortability. We spent around 18,000 PHP (≈10,760…

Explore Baguio on a Motorbike with 175 Php Budget

Dubbed as the Summer Capital of the Philippines due to its cool mountain weather, Baguio surely has a lot of amazing things to offer. Pine trees were found in every corner of the city lending it the nickname “City of Pines”. There’s no shortage of parks and restaurants where people could spend quality time with their family and barkada. Bunch after bunch of fresh strawberries are found everywhere in the market. True enough, it’s too beautiful that staying here for a day wouldn’t be enough. We had a family vacation in Baguio way back 2004. And now after 15 years, I’m finally back! But this time not for a vacation.…

JoyBus Premier Class Experience + How To Book Online

Travel time to Baguio usually takes 7-8 butt-numbing hours from Manila. Thanks to JoyBus, we can now reach Baguio within 4-5 hours! This is because stop-overs won’t be needed anymore as each bus unit has a comfort room on board and snacks and drinking water were provided for free. In our case, travel time only took about less than 4 hours (from Cubao) as our schedule was very early in the morning (2:30AM). What I Liked Aside from having a comfort room and free snacks and drinking water, blankets were also provided for added comfort as it could really get cold at the bus. The blankets are thick enough and…

Isla Frontera de Pacifica Resort | Dingalan’s Next Top Attraction

I’ve been very busy the past few months until an invitation reminded me that I badly needed a beach break. Sometimes we tend to forget that there’s more to life than just pushing yourself too much for a living. We forget that for our works to be done more efficiently, we need to unwind and take a break. Anything too much is bad. Balance is the key, as they say. But for now, let’s cut the drama and proceed to the actual trip. We were very excited we left home at 2:00 in the morning and arrived roughly 4 hours later. Isla Frontera de Pacifica Resort is about 30 minutes…

But for the meantime, getting a little taste of our big dream would be enough and fun too. Thanks to Goshen Resort & Hotel, a vacation spot in Tarlac that offers a fair enough Romania feels. Mararison Island | Little Batanes of Antique

White sand beach, stunning sandbar, crystal clear waters, rolling hills, such were the main highlights of our day-trip to this island paradise. Just 15-20 minutes boat ride from Culasi mainland, Mararison Island (also called Malalison) was put under tourism spotlight due to its massive beauty, accessibility, and hospitable community. From Culasi Port, we were asked to register first at their tourism office and hire a boat. Boat rental fee is fixed at 750 php roundtrip, good for maximum of 5 persons. In our case, we spent 375 each since we were just two. We also paid additional 30 php each for environmental fee. After few minutes we were escorted to…
