Trying to pick among hundreds of restaurants in Pampanga could be very tricky, especially if you’re planning for big group. This certain spot in the north is dubbed as the country’s culinary capital, no wonder why Kapampangans are spoiled with lots of choices when it comes to dining.

So when it was time to celebrate Diane’s, our lil sis’ graduation, we had to look for a restaurant that would please even the pickiest eater in the squad. We did not fail when we found this bang-for-buck restaurant in San Fernando Pampanga: Tabehoudai Buffet Restaurant.

Here are 7 reasons why dining here is worth every penny:

1. Very wide variety of food selections

The word tabehoudai is actually a Japanese word came from “taberu” meaning “to eat”, and “houdai” meaning “all you can”.

Tabehoudai Buffet Restaurant serves not only Japanese cuisine, but also Filipino, Korean, and Mexican among others. The food selection is complete from appetizer up to drinks and desserts!

2. High quality and delicious food

It sure has a lot of dishes to offer, but how about the quality? Well, this buffet restaurant still wins in terms of quality of food.

In fact, it’s always packed with customers which is a good indicator for quality. It could also mean that the dishes are always consumed, hence, always new.

We’ve actually dined here twice already, and in both instances, the restaurant had a long queue of people. Good thing we reserved our slots beforehand and we never had to queue.

3. Great for big groups

Tabehoudai Restaurant offers huge space that caters to big groups. They have tables good for 4, 8, and even 10 people. It’s easy to bring your whole family and friends here.

More dining spaces inside! Sorry for the blurry shot.

4. Perfect as a celebration venue

To make each celebrant feel more special, there are energetic staff who will sing you a happy birthday greeting song, table per table, with matching tambourine and background music!

For a hassle free and enjoyable celebration, this restaurant would be a perfect venue may it be birthday, graduation, anniversary, or any special occasion.

5. Orderly atmosphere

Although the restaurant may be packed with people, I’m still amazed by the fact that it doesn’t feel rowdy and messy. It’s true that crowd doesn’t always equate to jumble!

I also think that the buffet arrangement maintains the orderly atmosphere. There’s a designated spot for each variant such as sushi, salad (make your own), rice & viands, and desserts.

6. Approachable and dutiful staff

They don’t look tired and overworked, hence easy to approach. And once you’re done with your plate, the crew will immediately clear your table so that you will have space for another set of plates.

7. Instagram worthy

Last but not the least, millennials won’t get bored! While eating with your family and friends is already a fun thing to do, having something worth capturing and posting on Instagram adds to the fun!
