Imagine the current situation: No stress in school, no travel, no sports and concerts to watch, no festivities, etc. What if God is using this absence from many distractions for us to have the opportunity to seek Him more?

As we all know, the world has been getting a lot busier. The enemy tries to keep us more occupied than we should be. He pressures us with temporal things to distract us from eternal ones that God has in store for us. He tries to lure us out of God’s protection and draw us into his web of deception. Ultimately, he is working harder to pull more souls down because he knows his end comes near.

The enemy, through this virus, meant to steal our joy, kill our bodies, and destroy our faith. But let’s find rest in this: God may use the present circumstances for us to call on Him, to depend on Him, and to show us that He is still in control. God may use it to remind us that there are things that are out of our control and that only He can work out.

Christ won the victory on the cross of Calvary for you, for me, for all of us. This message doesn’t mean to spoil anyone but one thing’s for sure: CHRIST WINS!!! 🙌

But as for you, you meant evil against me; but God meant it for good, in order to bring it about as it is this day, to save many people alive. [Genesis 50:20 NKJV]

My deepest sympathies go out to the families of the victims. May God give you His peace.

Peace I leave with you; My peace I give to you; not as the world gives do I give to you. Do not let your heart be troubled, nor let it be fearful. ~Lord Jesus Christ [John 14:27 NASB]

About Author

Hi, I'm Dea! A traveler who loves good food and an electronics engineer based in PH. I like creating itineraries and daydreaming about the places. As weird as it might sound, I find the planning part as enjoyable as the trip itself. I love sunsets, beaches, and staycation trips. And I'm a worshipper of God—the source of my everything! I once wandered aimlessly in life, until Jesus found me! Now, I just wander around wonderful places as I marvel at His creation ❤️
