Hot summer or cold rainy days, our cravings for ice cream undoubtedly never perishes. This sweet and cold dessert has already gone through many innovations. And the latest one we have discovered exists behind the name Dough Creamery.

Dough Creamery’s Desserts

Their dessert concept originated from a bread (monay) filled with dirty ice cream which is something we all grew up with. And instead of the usual wafer/sugar cone, they serve their ice cream on Spindle cone which is made with a flash-fried dough. How creative was that?

They will first flash-fry the Spindle cone for 10 seconds then leave it for 3 minutes allowing it to cool down to prevent the ice cream from melting fast. Flash-frying is done to produce a doughnut-like texture — crispy on the outside and soft on the inside.

Then they will spread your chosen fillings/sauce inside the Spindle cone and will then be filled with their milky soft serve. Their soft-serve ice cream has just a right amount of sweetness, and beyond doubt milky — as it’s made with premium quality milk.

Fillings are available in the following choices:

Special:

  • Chocolate
  • Caramel
  • Blueberry
  • Ube
  • Peanut Butter
  • Cheese

Premium:

  • Peanut Butter & Blueberry Jelly
  • Peanut Butter & Caramel
  • Caramel Apple
  • Peanut Butter & Chocolate

Aside from Spindle, their dessert is also available as Waffle Pop and Ice Dog. Same ingredients and process as the Spindle, just different in shape and manner of serving. Fillings are same as in Spindle as well.

I personally liked it better as Waffle Pop as it tends to be less messy, and who doesn’t like waffles? But Jeric still prefers Spindle cone because for him, nothing beats the traditional way of eating ice cream.

Some may also prefer Ice Dog which is a hotdog bun filled with not hotdog but ice cream. It’s great that they made it available in different varieties as people usually have preferences of their own.

These desserts could also be a perfect snack in itself as it’s filling to the tummy. Remember, it’s made with dough and not wafer! Not to mention their serving is quite huge!

Coolers

You think we’re done with all the cool stuff? Not yet, as they still have coolers to make our experience even cooler! Available in Milk Shakes, Cream Soda, Milktea, and Coffee.

Milk Shakes in Chocolate, Matcha, Blueberry, and Strawberry
Jeric picked Strawberry Milk Shake just to make it unusual for him

A milk shake topped with milky soft serve was heaven on earth. I went for their Matcha Milk Shake and it was great! I could taste the Matcha flavor combining well with the creaminess of the ice cream.

You can eat the ice cream as it is but I suggest you better mix it well with the milk shake to make every sip even thicker and creamier!

Milk Tea, Cream Soda, and Coffee FLoat

I wasn’t able to taste the Milk Tea, Cream Soda, and Coffee Float, as I was already full by that time. Susuko pero di susuka! But as you could see in the photos, it still had soft-serve on top. So you can expect everything to be milkier and creamier!
