We’ve recently discovered a newly opened restaurant that offers unlimited mouthwatering Japanese-Korean fusion dishes for as low as 299 php. Such a bargain! Since Hodai Restaurant was just opened last April, the owners are currently more focused on making it known to the public by offering their high quality dishes at an unbelievably low price!
Food & Price

The 299 php is actually a promotional price for SILVER SET which has a regular price of 499 php, so you get to save 200 php! They also offer their GOLD SET for 359 php instead of 599, so you’d save 240 php! That’s a steal! Promo runs until May 31, 2019 only. So hurry and don’t miss it!
*UPDATE: Promo extended until June 14, 2019!

That’d be around 40 php only for each item. Compare it with a single set meal in any resto and do the math. Plus, it’s unlimited! Yes, that’s very out of this world! Not to mention you could avail it even if you’re alone, no minimum number of people required!

Even in regular price, it’s still worth it for around 65 php for each item. It’s quite unbelievable, to think that Japanese dishes are more challenging and takes longer time to prepare.
Hodai actually means “all you can” in Japanese language. So it means you’d get to eat yummy Japanese-Korean food to your hearts content!

What I personally liked the most were the Fish Teriyaki, followed by Korean Fried Chicken and Spicy Cheese BBQ Bowl. The rest were also great and of good quality. Each serving had an authentic taste and it’s noticeable that they use quality ingredients. In Filipino terms it means, “walang tapon!”
I also liked the Kimchi Gyoza. The little twist in the traditional Japanese Gyoza (dumplings) filled with Koreans’ staple food (kimchi) was to die for! The only thing I didn’t like is its soy dip as it was too salty for my taste. Nonetheless it’s just a minor thing since it’s just easy to work out. The Gyoza itself is crispy and packed with flavors!

Interestingly enough, as a person who’s not so used to spicy dishes, I still found the Spicy Cheese BBQ Bowl delicious. The cheese balances the spiciness of the chicken so I still enjoyed it. It was such a perfect combination of cheese and chili!

Rose Cream Pasta was the only Italian among all. I liked it that they put a little taste of Italian in the menu. It’s creamy and a little spicy.
The sushis were all good, no overpowering flavors as everything in it is balanced. My personal favorite is the one with tuna topping. Yummm!
Ambiance
You’d definitely feel the Japanese vibes not only through the food selections but also through the interiors! And what creates that ambiance is pretty basic: Japanese sliding doors! Hodai Restaurant restaurant is actually a two-storey house renovated and converted into a Japanese Restaurant.

The resto can also function as a venue for celebrations as it is large enough that it can accommodate up to 150 people. It’s advisable to reserve ahead of time if you’re a big group. Perfect for family gatherings or simply barkada foodtrip bonding!

Jeric and I actually went here with our family. From Left to right: Diane & Tita Dolly (Jeric’s li’l sis and mom), Edz (my sister), me, mommy Marilyn, and Jeric. Don’t hesitate to bring your whole family and barkada at Hodai Restaurant!
Service
The staff are courteous and prompt. They are quick to respond especially in refilling the dishes!
Not only that. What made us more impressed is that even the owners were serving! They are very hands-on in running their resto. It’s nice to see hardworking business owners setting good example to their workers. I can foresee that this resto will go a very long way!

Location
Nestled in a strategic location at West Triangle, Quezon City, Hodai Restaurant is surrounded by nearby landmarks (about 10-min drive) that are frequented by people such as SM North EDSA, Trinoma Mall, Fisher Mall, Ayala Vertis Mall, etc.
It’s completely wazable so nothing to worry about bringing your own wheels!
