Just recently, we once again had a quick Tagaytay getaway (as if Tagaytay is just few kilometers away from Bulacan). It was just a blog invite from an Airbnb host which means no expenses so it’s quite hard to say no despite having too many pending freelance projects *wink*. Since the bnb is near The Gingerbread House and it’s in time for Christmas season, there was no excuse to skip this attraction!

Our Trip to The Gingerbread House

Entrance Fee = 50 Php
*Update: It’s now 100 Php
Operating Hours: 8am – 5pm (Mon-Sun)

It’s just less than 5-min drive from our bnb at Madeline’s Ville. We honestly went here just for picture taking opportunities so expect fewer words as this post will most likely look like a photo blog.

At the entrance gate. Excuse my sakit balakang pose.

Quick heads up: Make sure you park inside The Gingerbread House and not at the pay parking beside it. In our experience, a woman standing outside directed us to the pay parking area so we thought there’s no designated parking inside. But upon entering The Gingerbread House, there’s actually a parking area inside with no fees at all. So Jec went to take our car inside instead.

The actual gingerbread house. That’s us at the terrace!

You’ll notice how tiny we are in this photo. Now you have an estimate on how huge the house is.

Take note though that the house is not made with real gingerbread so don’t expect too much. But it definitely looks attractive!

Jec played with the angle as usual

Candy Village
At the Candy Village. This photo is supposed to be cropped for that picture frame effect but I’m too lazy, which is a valid excuse nowadays.
I love this shot because I didn’t need to crop lol
Betty and Bobby’s house. I honestly have no idea who they are. Can you tell me?
Loving the umbrellas at the ceiling. This is beside the fish spa area.

Let’s now take a look inside the gingerbread house itself.

There’s a cafe inside!
With God all things are possible indeed!
Photo with the laziest bear I’ve ever met! He’s cute though.
Looks delicious
A huge dining table inside the house
Sweet tooth corner
At the second floor

Every nook and cranny is definitely photo worthy! It’s quite easy to take photos as any angle actually works.

Fish spa area
I’m going crazy with house’s exteriors!
Oops. I was having a bad hair day.

Let’s now go inside the museum.

Museum entrance
Inside the museum. This is the first part that you’ll see.
The dark area inside the museum. It’s dark but it’s bright.
Hello Victory Church! Nice venue!

More instagrammable corners!

Just near the museum
Even the restroom looks cute

Here I am. Not tall enough for you though. I’m only 5’4″.
Would love to hang out here
This is noted!

I'd love to hear your thoughts! 😊

  1. Hi, you mentioned that Gingerbread House is just 5 mins away from Madeline’s Ville, but when I Wazed it, it says around 50 mins. Can you please confirm? Or am I not getting the correct location in Waze and Google Maps.

    1. Hi. Yes, Madeline’s Ville is just along Matagbak-Palumlum Road in Alfonso Cavite. I think it’s still not pinned correctly in maps. I suggest you pin Coffee Farmhouse in maps since it’s just on the same path to Madeline’s Ville.
