To stay in a tiny house doesn’t always mean squeezing yourself in a small space. It isn’t always necessarily about sacrifice, you know. But to stay in a tiny impressive doll-house-like dwelling place is now becoming a dream come true especially for all theΒ kikays out there. And I’m so grateful for this new discovery of ours: Madeline’s Ville. This newly opened Bead & Breakfast in Cavite is something cute and adorable I can’t wait to share with all of you!
About Madeline’s Ville
Madeline’s Ville is named after the owners’ daughter (pronounced as ma-de-lin). It basically consists of three stand-alone tiny houses, namely, Sunshine, Earth, and Blue Sky. This 3,333 sqm property is a perfect respite for city dwellers as it’s literally close to nature and nestled in a very private setting. The place is pet-friendly so no worries about bringing your furbabies! Situated in Metro Tagaytay, the cool breeze and fresh air completes theΒ relaxing staycation experience. Stayed here for a night and it was hard to leave the place!

As seen in the photos, each house is being surrounded by plants and trees that contribute to the relaxing ambiance. The airconditioned houses look really cute and tiny on the outside (‘coz it really is) but what amazed us was despite being small in terms of area (each unit is just 15 sqm), it did not feel compressed once we’re inside the house. Each unit has own kitchenette, a high dining nook/breakfast nook, comfort room (with hot shower), and cabinets for your personal stuff! So how was it even possible to fit everything in one tiny space? Let’s find out.

So there you go, it’s a loft-type unit with the space under the stairs allotted for cabinets and refrigerator. Having a sliding door at the restroom and the absence of railings in the staircaseΒ are few more space-saving factors. But in my opinion, it will be best if there are railings at least 3 steps from the top for safety purposes. The ceiling is high enough to make the small space look and feel larger.
The kitchenette has an induction cooker, rice cooker, electric kettle, refrigerator, pots & pans, cooking utensils, plates, mugs, etc. If you happen to bring extra important valuables, there’s a safe box available for use.
The rustic stylish interiors are personally handcrafted by the owners. The houses have the same arrangements and style, they just differ in color palette.

Let’s now have a look at the comfort room. I guess you’re thinking there must be a huge compromise in the comfort room due to space saving purposes (I’m guilty too). Good thing, I was wrong! I actually loved that the toilet, washbasin, and shower are not all mixed up in one space. I mean they are all in one place, but there’s a dedicated space for each. So you can still take a shower while the other is using the toilet or brushing teeth. Space efficient but still comfortable.

Few more little things that add to the overall comfortability: Liquid hand soap, toothbrush holder, sufficient number of hooks at the main door and CR, bath soap, towels, carpets & rugs, hangers, etc.
Let’s have a sneak peek inside the other unit.

I wasn’t able to photograph the loft bed in our unit because Jeric invaded it right away!
The 32″ TV (with TV Plus) is in the loft bed area. Perfect for movie nights!

Each house is good for 2 persons but you can add two more people with no additional charge (although bath towels, soap, coffee & tea, etc. are still good for 2 persons). There’s a sofa bed provided in case you’re a group of 4.
In our case, the 3 of us slept at the loft bed while mom settled at the sofa bed downstairs because she uses the toilet every now and then.
Cute, artsy, and homey are three words that best describe the houses.

Other Amenities
Just in front of the houses, there’s a space for free parking that could fit 4-6 vehicles. Aside from having kitchenette and breakfast nook inside each unit, there’s also an outdoor kitchen and a 12-seater dining tableΒ provided. So whether you want to eat inside or alfresco style, it’s your choice! Grillers are also available if you’re a grilled food freak like us. There’s also a fire pit at the backyard if in case you can’t stand the cool breeze. There’s a dangle zoneΒ with swings where you can hang around or when you need alone time. OutdoorΒ CCTVs are installed within the premises so no worries about the security.

The owner, Sir Ariel, also shared their future development plans such as having a swimming pool at the backyard, and adding a couple more units to accommodate more guests. Now we have something to look forward to for aΒ perfect Tagaytay staycation!

It’s so cute and I like it too! problem is I do not think 4 people can fit in there haha! Perhaps 3 unless 1 sacrifice and sleep on the floor?
Each house has a double bed and a sofa bed good for 2 persons so it can fit up to 4pax. But yes, it will be more comfortable if max of 3pax will stay π
I wonder what happened now that Taal volcano erupted?
My thoughts too, that’s why I reached out to the owner. Good thing they’re safe and not greatly affected.
